Wu Yibing became the first Chinese player to win men’s professional tennis and ATP tour singles titles.
Wu Yi-bing beat John Isner of the United States, 39th in the world, 2-1 in the singles final of the Dallas Open held in Dallas, Texas바카라, USA.
Wu Yibing, who won the match in 2 hours and 59 minutes, rewrote Chinese tennis history.
Prior to this event, the best singles performance by a Chinese player on the ATP Tour was Pan Bing’s semifinal appearance at the 1995 KAL Cup in Seoul.
Chinese women’s tennis is strong enough for Lina to win major tournaments such as the 2011 French Open and the 2014 Australian Open, but men’s tennis is relatively weak.
Wu Yibing, born in 1999, is the first Chinese player in 63 years to win the men’s singles final at a major tournament at the US Open last year and advance to the round of 32.
He also garnered attention as an up-and-comer, winning the 2017 US Open Junior Singles.
In this tournament, Wuyibing defeated such outstanding players as Dennis Shapovalov, ranked 27th in the world in the second round, Adrian Mannarino, ranked 63rd in the third round, and Taylor Fritz, ranked 8th in the semifinals the previous day.
Wu Yibing became the first Chinese player to beat a player within the top 10 in the world rankings the day before.
Isner, the final opponent, is a 38-year-old veteran and is 208 cm tall.
On this day, Isner poured 44 serve aces with a strong serve that reached the maximum speed of 226 km/h, but Wu Yi-bing also faced the serve with a maximum speed of 219 km/h and played a great game that did not give up a sub game to each other.
