French professional soccer Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) winger Pablo Sarabia (31) is expected to eat rice with Hwang Hee-chan (27, Wolverhampton) soon.
The British BBC said on the 17th (Korean time), “England’s professional football club Wolverhampton has agreed with PSG to sign Sarabia for a transfer fee of 4.4 million pounds (approximately 6.66 billion won).”
He added, “Sarabia will undergo a medical test at Wolverhampton that day and sign a two-and-a-half-year contract.”
If the transfer is confirmed, Sarabia will be the third player to wear a Wolverhampton uniform in this transfer window.
Wolverhampton brought Brazilian striker Matheus Cunha on loan from Atletico Madrid (Spain) in December last year, and Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina this month.
Currently ranked 16th in the English Premier League (EPL) (17 points) and the lowest in the league (12 goals), Wolverhampton is focusing on strengthening their offensive power.
Sarabia is a player under the guidance of Hulen Lopetegi, coach of Wolverhampton, in the Spanish under-19 (U-19) national team.
He went through the Real Madrid youth team and Castilla (B team), played in Getafe and Seville (above Spain), etc., and wore a PSG uniform in 2019.바카라
In the 2019-2020 season, the first year of his transfer, he scored 14 goals and 8 assists in 40 official matches.
However, it was not easy to establish a position as a main player in PSG, which has many outstanding resources.
Sarabia, who played on loan at Sporting Lisbon (Portugal) in the 2021-2022 season, played an active role with 15 goals and 8 assists in 29 regular league games, but he has no attack points yet this season when he returned to PSG.
He headed to a new team without getting many opportunities to play, as he came as a substitute in 11 of 14 regular league games this season.
