The Korean women’s team swept the team and individual championships at the ‘Selangor International Junior Golf Championship’.
Park Ye-ji of the Korean women’s team at the ‘Selangor International Junior Golf Championship’ held at Seri Selangor Golf Club (men’s: par 72, 6246m, women’s: par 72, 5463m) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia on the 8th. 67, 73, 71), Yoo Min-young (80, 78, 85), and Yang Hyo-jin (72, 80, 75) won the overall team event with a final total of 681 points.
In the women’s individual event, Park Ye-ji rose to the top with a final total of 5 under par 211 in the third round.
In the men’s individual event, Wang Yixiang of China rose to the top with a final total of 3 under par 216 in the third round. 토토
China’s Wang Yishen won her all-expense (excluding airfare) tickets at the Selangor Masters and Park Ye-ji at the 119th Malaysian Amateur Open.
As of January 1, 2023, this competition was attended by players aged 12 to 18 with a handicap of 8 or less in the Asia Pacific region.
The team event consisted of 4 men and 4 women, and 8 teams from 5 countries participated, and the individual event was held in 3 rounds with 104 players from 10 countries participating.
Park Ye-ji said, “It feels really good to reach the top and win. This is my first win in a tournament held in Malaysia, and I think it will be a good experience for the 2023 season.”
Yixiang Wang said, “First of all, I want to thank my parents who raised me as a golfer. This win is a big start in my golf career. I hope to come back here and win my third championship.” said of his victory.
