The duo of Jokic and Murray were the driving force behind the victory. Jokic had an all-around performance with 32 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists, while Murray added 34 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Their performances helped the Nuggets pull away from Miami and secure the win.
The ‘Denver duo’ exploded for a whopping 66 points. They also added 31 rebounds and 20 assists. Super Rookie Christian Browne added an Altoran-like performance. In 19 minutes and two seconds on the court, he scored 15 points. He pulled down four rebounds, added an assist and a steal.
The third-highest scorer on the team, he also shot an impressive percentage from the field. He took eight free throws and made seven of them. He converted all but one of his three-pointers. He shot a whopping 87.5 per cent from the field. He also did some dirty work on defence, protecting Denver’s lead.
Behind the Denver duo’s first-ever triple-double in the NBA Finals was the surprise performance and dedication of a super-rookie. Denver will face Miami in Game 4 of the championship on the 10th at the same venue.
