Song Hee-chae (31) and Song Myung-geun (30) were founding members of the OK Financial Group volleyball team. The two players switched teams in a one-for-one trade.
OK Financial Group and Woori Card announced a trade for outside hitter Song Myung-geun and Song Hee-chae on the 26th. Song Hee-chae, who played for OK Financial Group from the 2013-2014 season to the 2017-2018 season, returns to OK Financial Group after six seasons with Samsung Fire and Woori Card.
This is the first move for Song Myung-geun, who has only played for OK Financial Group since joining the professional league.안전놀이터
Song Hee-chae and Song Myung-geun, who played together on the pitch, were the founding members of OK Financial Group, which entered the V-League under the name Russia & Cash in the 2013-2014 season. They were part of the winning team in the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons.
After the 2017-2018 season, they became free agents side by side, and while Song Myung-geun signed a contract to stay with OK Financial Group, Song Hee-chae left for Samsung Fire. Song Hee-chae was traded to the Woori Card in April 2020, while Song Myung-geun played for OK Financial Group until last season.
OK Financial Group and Woori Card said, “With this trade, we have filled a need in our team. OK Financial Group adds stability to the team with the addition of outside hitter Song Hee-chae, who has the ability to play offence. Woori Card has strengthened its offence by acquiring Song Myung-geun.”
Having released setter Hwang Seung-bin and acquired KB Insurance outside hitter Han Sung-jung the day before, the Woori Card continued to improve their roster with back-to-back trades.
