Byung-hoon Ahn, 32, dropped four shots on the final day of the Charles Schwab Challenge on the US Professional Golf (PGA) Tour to finish in a tie for 21st place.
The South Korean carded two birdies but made six bogeys in the final round of the tournament at the par-70 Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, on Monday (29 September) to finish at four-over par and tied for 21st place at one-under par.메이저놀이터
After starting the tournament in a tie for seventh place on the first day, Ahn was tied for fourth on the second and tied for sixth on the third, giving him a glimpse of his third top-10 finish of the season and a chance to win the tournament, but a shaky tee shot on the final day left him unable to get his iron shots close to the hole and his putts didn’t go in. He was tied for 53rd in fairways hit (42.86 per cent), tied for 42nd in greens in regulation (50 per cent) and tied for 60th in putts (30).
After missing back-to-back short par putts on the second and third holes (both par-4s), Ahn seemed to make up for it with a birdie on the sixth, but then missed a par putt from about 2.5 metres on the seventh (par-4). He then dropped his tee shot and second shot on the ninth (par-4) and made bogey to end his hopes of a top-10 finish. Two bogeys and a birdie on the back nine dropped him another stroke and he hung his head in shame.
Kim Si Woo, who qualified for the final round alongside Ahn Byung Hoon, dropped three shots on the final day to finish tied for 29th at even par, while Lee Kyung Hoon also shot three over par to finish tied for 57th at five over par.
Emiliano Grillo.
Emiliano Grillo (Argentina) was crowned the winner in a playoff. Grillo shot an eight-under-par total in regulation to tie with Adam Shank (USA), then birdied the 16th (par-3) in the second extra hole to secure his second PGA Tour victory in eight years after winning the 2015 Price.com Open. World number one Scott Schauffler (USA) finished in a tie for third at seven under par.
