“A lot of fans came to Jeonju, and I’m happy to give them a victory.”
Jeonbuk Hyundai won the Hyundai Derby 2-0 in the 16th round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 against Ulsan Hyundai at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on Wednesday. The win took their lead to 41 points, 29 wins and 40 draws.
Jeonbuk scored two goals in the second half. Jun Amano’s cross was finished off by Cho Kyu-sung with a diving header, and in stoppage time, Cho Kyu-sung, Song Min-kyu, and Moon Sun-min combined to end Ulsan’s chances.먹튀검증
It was Moon’s fourth goal of the season, the most of any Jeonbuk player. He told the broadcasters after the game, “Talking about the top scorer is too far away. I was able to score a lot of goals thanks to good players,” he said.
“Our last five games against Ulsan were tough. Today’s win gave me confidence in Jeonbuk, and if we can do it again, we will get better results,” he added.
A record 27,797 fans were in attendance at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium on the day, and Hyundai heated up the derby. After Moon scored a wedge goal in second-half stoppage time, he and Song Min-kyu performed a control tower ceremony to raise the spirits.
Moon said, “There were so many fans at the Hyundai Street Derby, and I’m glad we were able to give them a fun win. I’m even happier that I played a part. I’m really grateful,” he concluded.
