England’s Manchester United legend David Beckham’s son Romeo, 20, has a chance to follow in his footsteps and play in the Premier League. He is the second (youngest) of Beckham’s three sons and one daughter.
English Premier League club Brentford’s B team (second team) announced on Sunday that it has signed Romeo Beckham on a one-year contract with a club option for a further year. His status has changed from loan to full transfer.먹튀검증
Romeo has been playing for Inter Miami’s second team in the U.S. Major League Soccer (MLS), where his father is a co-owner. He joined the Brentford B team (second team) on loan in January.
Romeo made 20 appearances for Inter Miami’s second team last season, recording 10 assists to help the team finish sixth in the Eastern Conference.
He then moved to Brentport’s B team, where he played 15 games and scored one goal.
Most notably, he was a member of the team that won the Premier League Cup in May, a competition organized by the Premier League for under-21 teams.
Brentford B head coach Neil Macfarlane welcomed the move outright. “Romeo joined us in January and he has been a fantastic addition to our squad. He recently finished the season in style against Manchester City, showing what he has learned during his loan spell with us,” he said. “We have continued to develop him on and off the field and look forward to working with him again next season.”
