Right-hander Park Jeong-joon (31) 먹튀검증, who retired from Samsung, starts the second act of his baseball life as a power analyst starting this season.
Park Jung-jun will be in charge of supporting the team at the Okinawa camp in Japan, and will work as a power analyzer for the batting part after the season begins.
After graduating from Hyocheon High School, Park Jeong-joon was nominated in the 5th round of the 2011 rookie draft. While playing for Nexen and Doosan, he appeared in 15 first-team games and recorded an average ERA of 14.54 without winning or losing.
He then pitched as a bullpen pitcher for the Scorebone Hyenas of the Independent League. In 2021, he pitched in 18 games in the independent league and earned 1 win, 1 loss and 1 save (average ERA of 6.26).
Park Jeong-jun, who signed a contract with Samsung last year after going through a joining test, climbed the mound for the first team eight times and recorded an average ERA of 6.30 without a win or loss.
In October of last year, he was included in the list of non-renewal contracts, and he was given the opportunity to make a fresh start as a power analyst in recognition of his sincerity as a player.
